Mechanism of action

Barrier repair

Stimulates ceramide synthesis in the stratum corneum, reducing transepidermal water loss.

Pigment

Blocks melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes, resulting in fewer dark spots at the surface.

Sebum

Reduces sebum excretion rate in oily skin types at 2-5% concentrations.

Inflammation

Inhibits the NF-κB pathway; calms redness and post-inflammatory flushing.
