How can we help?
Answers to the questions we get most about the GlowPal app, plus a human at the other end of the inbox.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the face scan?
The face scan estimates skin readings (oiliness, redness, and similar signals) from photos you take with your camera. It is a guide for tracking changes over time, not a lab instrument. Lighting, camera angle, and recent product use can all shift a reading. GlowPal does not diagnose any condition. It does not detect skin cancer, and it is not a medical device. If something on your skin worries you, or hurts, or changes fast, see a dermatologist or doctor rather than relying on the app.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from the account page in the app. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. You can also email contact@glowpal.beauty with the subject "Delete my data" and we will remove your account and its data within 30 days. You may request a copy of the data we hold about you at the same address. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Questions about subscriptions or billing?
Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your card number. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, open the App Store app, tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple: report a problem at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a charge looks wrong on your GlowPal account status, email us and we will sort it out with you.
How do I report a bad product recommendation?
Tell us. Email contact@glowpal.beauty with the product name and what went wrong (an irritation report, a mismatch with your skin type, or a listing error). We log every report, re-check the product's ingredients against our database, and pull recommendations that do not hold up. For factual errors in our articles, the same address reaches our editorial team.
